The SKY55951-11 from Skyworks is a GNSS Front End Module that supports L1 and L5 GNSS frequencies. It has dedicated L1 and L5 receive paths with an integrated L1 LNA, B13 notch post-filter, and an L5 LNA and post-filter. The LNAs deliver a small signal gain of up to 17.5 dBm and have a noise figure of less than 1.5 dB. It has a return loss of less than 18 dB (output) and 8 dB (input).
The SKY55951-11 filters have an out-of-band rejection of 52 to 93 dBc and a reverse isolation of 30 dB. It requires a DC supply of 1.5-3.3 V and consumes 1 mA (L1) and 1.9 mA (L5) of current. This module is available in a small MCM package that measures 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.7 mm and is ideal for 4G/5G cellular IoT modules, smartwatches, personal trackers, vehicle trackers, personal navigation devices, handheld computers, and Wi-Fi 6E enterprise access point applications.
