The SKY58281-11 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module that covers 4G LTE and 5G NR bands. It has integrated PA blocks, input and output matching, a MIPI standard digital control block, single-ended filters, antenna and band select switches, and a low noise amplifier (LNA). This module has an enhanced architecture that covers multiple bands and meets the spectral linearity and EVM requirements of CP-OFDM and DFTS-OFDM modulations up to 256 QAM. It supports 2x2 UL-MIMO using two TX placements and Fast SRS Hopping timing requirements.
The SKY58281-11 has high-performance APT/ET PA cores and a MIPI v3.0 compliant 52 MHz RFFE bus interface that provides continuous bias control. It has an integrated ANT swap switch and an SRS_IN/OUT port that supports full SRS connectivity. This module has a fully baseband agnostic design and supports full-power APT without DPD. It has integrated n77, n78 & n79 primary & MIMO Rx paths and supports n78, n79 PC2 power. This module is available in a 42-pad surface mount LGA package that measures 4.5 x 5.5 x 0.7 mm and is ideal for 5G New Radio, 4G LTE and smartphone applications.
