The SKY5A3043 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module that supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile bands. It consists of a low-band 3G/4G/5G PA block, low-band and high-band 2G PA blocks, a silicon controller containing the MIPI RFFE interface, RF band switches, antenna switches, a bi-directional coupler, integrated filters and low noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM is optimized for LTE Advanced applications which utilize Carrier Aggregation (CA) for higher data rates. This module contains the necessary components between the antenna and RFIC transceiver for excellent Rx sensitivity and Tx efficiency. It meets the AEC-Q104 standard for automotive applications.
The SKY5A3043 also has exceptional RF coexistence planning and system techniques to minimize Rx de-sensitizing. It is available in a package that measures 7.6 x 6.0 x 0.80 mm and is ideal for automotive, telematics (4G/5G), and network-attached device (NAD) applications.
