The WPGM0811015FEM from WAVEPIA is an MMIC GaN Front-End Module that operates in the X-Band from 8.5 to 10.5 GHz. It consists of a switch, a low noise amplifier (LNA), a power amplifier (PA), and coupling capacitors. On the Tx side, this FEM delivers a saturated output power of 22.9 W (~43.6 dBm) with a small signal gain of 35.4 dB and, power-added efficiency (PAE) of 27.7% while on the Rx side, it provides a small signal gain of 23.3 dB and a noise figure of 3.9 dB. This MMIC requires a DC supply of 28 V (Tx) and 10 V (Rx) and consumes 395 mA (Tx) and 12 mA (Rx) of current. It is available in a bare chip package that measures 20.00 x 10.00 x 1.27 mm and is ideal for general-purpose, radar and satellite communications applications.
