The GNSSNOVA M20072 from Antenova is an Integrated GNSS/GPS Module that can concurrently track GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo satellite constellations. It is based on Mediatek’s AG3335N GNSS chip that is fabricated using a 12 nm process which allows the module to simultaneously track all four satellite constellations and improve positioning accuracy. This module has an integrated omni-directional antenna, a low noise amplifier (LNA), and a SAW filter in a single package. It requires a DC supply of 1.8 V, consumes 9.4 mA of current in tracking GPS mode, 12 mA of current in tracking (GPS) with LNA, and 23.5 mA of current in tracking (GGGB) with LNA mode. The module operates from 1559-1609 MHz.
The M20072 has an EASY mode that speeds up TTFF (time-to-first-fix) by predicting the ephemeris data for each satellite. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 13.8 x 9.5 x 1.8 mm and is ideal for use in drones, battery-powered telematics, wearables-fitness trackers, pet trackers, e-Scooter/bike trackers, and asset tracker applications.
