The A5100-A from Lantronix is a GNSS Module that supports GLONASS, GPS, QZSS and SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN) bands. It has a tracking sensitivity of -165 dBm and provides a horizontal position with a stand alone accuracy of less than 2.5 m. This module has a hot start of less than 1 s, a warm start of less than 30 s and a cold start of less than 35 s. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes 31 mA of current. This module can be controlled via UART, SPI and I2C interfaces.
The A5100-A has built-in 4 Mb SPI Flash, all RF matching elements, antenna DC control, RF SAW filtering, various thermal and peripheral components, and a TCXO crystal reference. It supports SiRFaware’s advanced low power management modes and integrates CSR’s latest SiRFstarV technology into a single and easy to integrate SMT device. This module has active CW interference rejection and a jammer removal algorithm that facilitates integration and guarantees performance even in hostile environments. It is available in a package that measures 10.2 x 15 mm.
