GNSS Module by Maxim Integrated
MAX2769C Image

The MAX2769C from Maxim is a GNSS receiver for for GPS (L1/E1, B1, G1 bands), Galileo, BeiDou, and GLONASS satellite systems. The chip consists of the complete receiver chain, including a dual-input LNA and mixer, followed by the image-rejection filter, Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) and a multibit ADC. It provides 110 dB of cascaded gain with total cascaded noise figure of 1.4 dB. The GNSS modules also includes an integrated VCO, a crystal oscillator, a fractional-N frequency synthesizer to program the LO frequency using different reference frequencies. It has the option to select one of the two LNAs for seperate Active and Passive Antenna inputs.

The module is available in a 5 mm x 5 mm, 28-pin thin QFN package with an exposed paddle and is ideal for In-Vehicle Navigation Systems, Telematics (Asset Tracking, Inventory Management), Navigation Systems, Marine/Avionics Navigation, Digital Still Cameras and Camcorders.
