The CCA-800 from Japan Radio Co. is a GPS/GNSS Module that provides highly accurate positioning information in urban areas. It has a cold start time of 35 s, a warm start time of 2 s, and a hot start time of 2 s. This module provides a position accuracy of 1.6 m CEP, has a tracking sensitivity of -148 dBm, and has an acquisition sensitivity of -163 dBm. It supports multiple satellite constellations including GPS, Galileo, QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and SBAS. The module can also be used for timing applications as it uses PPS signals synchronized with the UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). It has an intermittent positioning function which can reduce power consumption in sleep mode down to around 2% of the normal operating mode. This module is available in a surface-mount package that measures 12.4 x 12.4 x 2.45 mm.
