The MAX-M8 GPS module is a standalone GNSS module that is built on the u-blox M8 engine. With a dual frequency RF front end, the MAX-M8 is able to intelligently use the highest amount of visible satellites from two GNSS (GPS, GLONASS and BeiDOU) systems for more reliable positioning. It has a tracking/navigation sensitivity of -167 dBm and a low acquisition time & Cold start 26/27 sec, aided starts 2/4 sec. and reacquisition 1.5/1.5 s. The module has an on chip LNA and is compatible with both passive and active antennas. It requires a supply voltage of 1.65 to 3.6 V and is available in a 9.7 x 10.1 x 2.5 mm package.
