The LigoVision 5-15ac from LigoWave is an Outdoor WLAN Access Point that operates in the 5 GHz band. It supports channel bandwidths up to 80 MHz and delivers a data rate of up to 866 Mbps at 80 MHz channel bandwidth. This access point supports IEEE 802.11a/n/ac and iPoll 3 WLAN standard and dual 2×2 MIMO radio mode. It supports FEC and LDPC error correction, Time Division Duplex (TDD) duplexing scheme and OFDM (256-QAM, 64-QAM, 16-QAM, QPSK, BPSK) modulation schemes. The access point has an integrated 5 GHz band dual-polarized directional panel antenna with a gain of 15 dBi. It supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and includes an AC to 48 V (DC) PoE adapter for AC power sources.
The LigoVision 5-15ac provides a TX power of up to +30 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of up to -95 dBm. It has a QCA 9563 CPU (750MHz), a QCA 9882 radio, 64 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash memory. This AP has an additional PoE out port that provides a power supply of -48 V and allows the connection of IP cameras without the need for a PoE switch. It uses iPoll and QoS mechanisms to minimize latency while prioritizing voice and video traffic. It supports LigoWave’s iPoll PTMP (Point-to-Multi-Point) proprietary protocol, an innovative solution eliminating transmission congestion and close-cluster interference created in wireless PTMP installations. The proprietary iPoll protocol allows each wireless link to obtain maximum bandwidth with the lowest possible latency.
The LigoVision 5-15ac is available in a housing that measures 150 x 115 x 55 mm and is ideal for demanding surveillance scenarios and CCTV applications.
