The AmpNV from Windfreak Technologies is a software controllable RF Power Amplifier that operates from 50 MHz to 6 GHz. The gain can be programmed via USB or pushbutton control across a 31.5 dB range in 1/2 dB steps for up to 35 dB of gain at the maximum setting. The amplifier is capable of supplying up to 1 Watt of RF power while operating over a supply of 15 to 28 V and drawing less than 5 watts of power. It is available in a module that measures 2.75 x 2.15 x 1.95 inches, not including mounting tabs and connectors. The amplifier is ideal for wireless communications systems, microwave point to point backhaul radios, Software Defined Radios, radars, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), EMC - radiated immunity pre-compliance testing, electronic warfare and hobbyist radio development applications.
