The L-Band High Power Circulator from Smiths Interconnect is a 3-port Circulator that operates from 1.57 to 1.62 GHz. It can handle an input power of 225 W and has an insertion loss of less than 0.15 dB. The circulator features proprietary multiplication suppression techniques which offers the designer minimal risk operation today and a path towards operating at higher powers in the future. It is a highly compact, space qualified solution for the most rugged space applications. The circulator is available in a module with TNC-Female connectors and is designed for solid state power amplifiers (SSPA) used aboard spacecrafts’ communication, navigation, RadarSats, and satellite payloads (GEO/MEO and LEO constellations).
