The WLE1216V5-20 from Compex is a 4x4 802.11ac Wave 2 Mini PCIe WiFi Module that operates from 5.180 to 5.825 GHz. This IEEE 802.11ac compliant module is backward compatible with 802.11a/n and supports a data rate of up to 1733 Mbps. It provides up to 20 dBm of output power (per chain) and consumes 8.5 watts of input power while operating from a 3.3 V supply. The module supports Spatial Multiplexing, Cyclic-Delay Diversity (CDD), Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) Codes, Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), Space-Time Block Code (STBC) and Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS).
