The Filogic 360 from MediaTek is a 2.4/5/6 GHz Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 Combo Module. It has a bandwidth of 160 MHz and delivers a maximum throughput of 2.9 Gbps (Wi-Fi 7) using selectable 2x2 triple-band operation and Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as 4096-QAM, MLO, and MRU. This module utilizes Wi-Fi 7 MRU and Preamble Puncture technologies to achieve exceptional performance even in busy network environments that experience channel interference. It also uses Hybrid MLO technology that provides always-on connectivity with exceptional throughput in short-range connections (up to 1.8 Gbps more than previous Wi-Fi generations) and better long-range coverage by adaptively and seamlessly switching between the three available bands in a single chip.
The Filogic 360 supports Dual Bluetooth 5.4 and LE Audio protocols and has a dedicated in-chip DSP that can perform LC3 decoding via I2S. It uses MediaTek’s advanced Bluetooth/Wi-Fi coexistence technology to ensure both technologies can operate on the 2.4 GHz band without interference. This module has an integrated RF, Baseband, MAC & iFEM and can be controlled via a PCI-Express 2.1 or USB 3.0 interface. It is designed for busy network neighborhoods, and long-range coverage and is ideal for use in tablets, laptops, PCs, wearables, and other devices.
