The TC35661SBG-551 from Toshiba is a single chip CMOS IC for Bluetooth communication that is capable of communicating with both classic and LE devices. It consumes 63 mA of current in active mode and 30 µA of current in sleep mode while operating over a 1.7 to 3.6 V supply voltage. This dual-mode bluetooth IC has a receiver sensitivity of -91 dBm. It is available in a 5 x 5 mm BGA package and supports both SPP (Serial Port Profile) and GATT (Bluetooth Low Energy).
