The Pivot 5G Model 5620 from Pivotal Commware is a 5G Network Repeater that can extend, redirect, and shape mmWave signals from 5G base stations. It operates from 24.25-27.5 GHz, 26.5-29.5 GHz, and 37-40 GHz and uses Pivotal’s patented Holographic Beam Forming® technology to achieve the lowest available cost, size, weight, and power consumption profile. The repeater has an integrated horn antenna that delivers a MIMO EIRP of up to 22.4 W (~43.5 dBm) with a tunable gain range of 100 dB and a noise figure of 7 dB. It has an azimuth high power beamwidth (HPBW) of 75° and an elevation HPBW of 45°. It has an in-band ripple of 2 dB (per 100 MHz channel) and a latency of less than 100 ns.
The Model 5620 is available as donor units with a range of up to 1500 ft and is professionally installed on-the-pole/on-the-building. It requires a DC supply of -48 V or an AC supply of 120/240 V and consumes less than 100 W of power. This mmWave repeater is available in an IP66-rated enclosure that measures 11.5 x 11.5 x 3 inches. It has received UL, FCC, GR-3108, GR-1089, MIC (Japan), and RCM (Australia) certification approvals.
