The Network 257 (460069) from Wilson Electronics is a 28 GHz 5G mmWave Outdoor Repeater that covers the 5G-NR n257 and n261 bands. It provides an end-to-end gain of up to 100 dB, has a noise figure of 2.5 dB, and latency of less than 40 ns. This repeater uses cutting-edge dielectric waveguide antenna technology to efficiently extend 5G coverage to multiple, users simultaneously in a wide area. It has built-in dual-polarization that supports MIMO and can be configured to broadcast a variety of beamwidths which allows for enhanced coverage both in line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight applications. It can be controlled via a USB interface.
The Network 257 consists of a donor antenna that receives source signals from up to 10 km from the originating gNB and a server antenna that supports up to 1 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth. It supports remote management services with LTE connectivity via a replaceable, internal PCI Express Mini Card with 3G/2G fallback. This repeater provides real-time telemetry data, automated alerts, and the option for manual adjustments to be made from any connected cellular device. It available in pole-mount IP67-rated rugged enclosures that measure 8.3 x 13.1 x 7 inches (donor) and 8.3 x 13.1 x 3.7 inches (server). This repeater requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes 34 W of power.
