The FieldFox N9912C from Keysight is a Handheld RF Analyzer for a frequency range of up to 10 GHz. This software-defined analyzer is fully upgradable with license-key activated frequency, bandwidth, and various other features. This battery-operated system can address cable and antenna tests (CAT), real-time spectrum analysis and/or vector network analysis (VNA), and over-the-air digital demodulation analysis required for your application. It enables users to mix and match VNA and spectrum analyzer frequencies, and effortlessly upgrade the capabilities of the analyzer that best meets their needs. The analyzer is designed for making measurements for RF devices like cables, antennas, filters, amplifiers, and signal/spectrum analysis.
The N9912C can be made more capable with convenient software upgrades which are engineered to deliver precise measurements in the field. It can capture signals with up to 40 MHz gap-free, real-time bandwidth and measure all four S-parameters simultaneously with a dynamic range of 115 dB. This analyzer can perform over-the-air measurements for 5G NR and LTE and uses GPS/GNSS for geolocation and timestamping. It is available in lightweight and portable housing that weighs 3.4 Kg and includes an in-built rechargeable Li-ion battery.
