The PSA-2500-CTX from AVCOM is a Portable Spectrum Analyzer that operates from 5 to 2300 MHz (input 1) and 5.5 to 6.5 GHz (input 2). It has been designed to perform quick and precise signal investigations and enables technicians to troubleshoot C-band satellite end and 5.8 GHz video/audio signals. This spectrum analyzer has a span width of up to 1300 MHz and a resolution bandwidth of 10/100/300 kHz and 1 MHz. It has a dynamic range of 40 dBm and a sensitivity of more than -85 dBm. This analyzer has an amplitude accuracy of ±1 dB and a frequency accuracy of ±1 kHz.
The PSA-2500-CTX supports fast refresh rates, allows for 10 customizable presets for 50 user memory locations, and enables direct frequency readouts of LO frequency offsets. It can be monitored and controlled either locally from the front panel or remotely with AVCOM’s control software via serial port or Ethernet. This spectrum analyzer has an intuitive easy-to-use GUI and includes functions such as screenshot capture recording, markers, cross-polling, and automated data acquisition. It also allows users to save and recall an unlimited number of screenshots from the analyzer’s internal user memory location.
This spectrum analyzer has a 5.7-inch TFT-LCD display screen that supports convenient configuring and monitoring of parameters. It requires a DC supply of 15 V and consumes less than 3 A of current. This portable analyzer is available in a benchtop enclosure that measures 9.00 x 9.25 x 5.75 inches and has SMA and BNC connectors at the input. It is ideal for satellite, TV, radio broadcasting, CATV, wireless, TCSM, and GPS applications.
