The 5GPro Spectrum Analyzer from EXFO is a Dual-band RF Spectrum Analyzer that operates at the two frequency bands, 450 MHz to 6 GHz (5G FR1 - Low & Mid-band) and 24.25 to 40 GHz (5G FR2 - mmWave). It has a signal analysis bandwidth of up to 100 MHz and can handle an input power of up to 30 dBm. The spectrum analyzer offers real-time spectrum analysis (RTFA) for quick characterization of wireless signals and detection of intermittent interference.
The 5GPro Spectrum Analyzer provides visibility into 4G LTE and 5G RF environments using the 5G-NR signal analyzer and the LTE analyzer. The 5G-NR signal analyzer supports the demodulation of 5GNR signals, validating over-the-air (OTA) performance of cell sites and ensures smooth communication with user equipment. The LTE analyzer supports the demodulation of 4G/LTE signals, validating over-the-air (OTA) performance of cell sites and provides key metrics such as sector & group ID, physical cell ID (PCI), duplexing mode, RSRP, RSRQ, and RSSI.
The 5GPro Spectrum Analyzer features a fully integrated solution for 5G RAN validation that includes ethernet testing up to 100G, timing and synchronization, eCPRI and CPRI protocol testing, intelligent RF spectrum analysis over CPRI (iORF), and optical transceiver validation (iOptics). It is also compatible with the FTB-1 Pro dual carrier and FTB-1 Pro high-power dual-carrier configurations. The analyzer also includes an OTDR/iOLM module that offers automated fiber characterization and provides expert-level fault-finding capabilities.
This dual-band spectrum analyzer is available in a compact package with SMA female (FR1) and 2.92 mm K-male (FR2) connectors. It can be used for spectrum clearing, 5G and 4G/LTE cell site installation, RF interference hunting, and DAS validation & troubleshooting applications.
