The BB60D from Signal Hound is a Spectrum Analyzer that operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It streams 140 MB/sec of digitized RF signals to a PC over the USB 3.0 interface, providing an instantaneous bandwidth of 27 MHz, and sweeping at speeds of 24 GHz/sec. This analyzer performs spectrum analysis using the proprietary application programming interface (API) which can execute up to 1.2 million FFT spectrums or 320 million FFT points every second, delivering real-time spectrum data. It is powered using USB 2.0/3.0 ports, consumes 6 W of power in active mode and 1 W of power in idle mode.
The BB60D used the Spike spectrum analyzer software developed by Signal hound which has multiple analysis views, a GPU accelerated color persistence display, and LTE and RF mapping capabilities. This software also includes various analysis modules for analog/digital/WLAN modulation analysis, EMC pre-compliance measurements, noise figure, and interference hunting measurements. It is available in a compact module that measures 219 x 81 x 30 mm and is ideal for technicians and anyone else who needs a quality option for mobile analysis.
