The T8160 from Transcom Instruments is a handheld spectrum analyzer that operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. This is the first Android based spectrum analyzer and has a high resolution touch screen interface which makes testing very easy. This analyzer has a resolution bandwidth from 10 Hz to 5 MHz and a DANL of -168 dBm @ 1 GHz. It weighs 1.25 kg with a battery that lasts up to 6 hours. The T8160 can be used by field engineers for installing and maintaining transmission systems.
