The M9484C Series from Keysight Technologies are 1/2/4-Channel VXG Vector Signal Generators that operates from 9 kHz to 54 GHz. They offer 2.5 GHz of modulation bandwidth per channel and have low phase noise with minimal measurement uncertainty. These generators can be used for multi-antenna test applications such as MIMO and beamforming with precise phase coherence and timing synchronization. They can generate complex wideband signals needed for carrier aggregation and digital pre-distortion (DPD) applications. These signal generators streamline complex receiver test scenarios with 8-virtual-signal emulation per RF channel, up to 32 signals in one instrument. They also include pre-defined compliance test setups, auto-configuring signal analysis, and a graphic user interface to simply test workflow.
The generators cover all 5G NR frequency bands & V/W-band for satellite communications and support MIMO real-time fading for all 3GPP 5G NR base station conformance tests. The M9484C Series VXG signal generators have an internal pulse generator/modulator, vector modulator, and baseband generator. With a V3080A vector signal generator frequency extender, the frequency range of the generators can be expanded up to 110 GHz to address the needs of the latest and evolving standards. These signal generators can be controlled via a GPIB (IEEE-488.2,1987) with listen and talk and 1000BaseT LAN interfaces. They have 10.6 inches display with a resolution of 1280 x 768. The signal generators are available in benchtop enclosures that measure 635.0 x 444.3 x 194.6 mm with N-type (female)/3.5 mm (male) or 1.85 mm (male) connectors.
