The SG12000PRO from DS Instruments is an RF Signal Generator that operates from 50 MHz to 13 GHz (10 MHz to 15 GHz in uncalibrated mode) with a step size of 10 Hz. It can generate an output power level of up to 10 dBm with a dynamic range of 70 dB. It generates a signal with a low phase noise of -94 dBc @10 kHz. The phase noise of the generated signal is 30 dB lower than the standard SG12000.

The generator is powered from a standard UCB-C connection and has a bright OLED display with front control buttons to provide a quick alternative to USB control.

This 50-ohm signal generator measures 2.75 x 1.25 x 4.15 inches and is available with SMA connectors. The device is ideal for use in automated testing environments, general RF labs, flexible LO sourcing, antenna design, EMC testing, production verification, and testing, educational/university lab use, aerospace/defense research, 802.11n development/testing, and LTE engineering applications.
