The G7M-06 from Micran is a Vector Signal Generator that operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. This signal generator is designed to generate continuous harmonic and analog/digital-modulated signals. It uses built-in modulators or oscillators (external oscillator option supported) to produce amplitude, frequency, phase, and pulse modulated signals. This signal generator also has a 2-channel I/Q generator that allows users to play pre-calculated and saved signal or signal sequence records from the device memory. It delivers an output power from -90 dBm to +12 dBm and has a phase noise of -130 dBc/Hz (at 20 kHz offset).
This vector signal generator can be controlled via universal SCPI commands from an external PC with VEGA software. It is available in a benchtop enclosure and is ideal for analyzing, tuning, testing, and monitoring of RF/Microwave devices in communications, radars, instrument engineering, and measurement equipment applications.
