The ISC-2425-25+ from Mini-Circuits is an ISM Signal Generator and Controller that operates from 2400 to 2500 MHz. It has a frequency selection resolution of 1 kHz and provides output power from -30 to +25 dBm with a course control of 0.5 dB and fine control of 0.01 dB. This generator provides phase control from 0 to 360° with a resolution of 1°. It has an integrated microcontroller that is capable of accommodating the board control firmware and user-defined application-level software. The generator utilizes a digital locked loop (DLL) algorithm that tunes the RF signal toward the best-matched frequency within a user-defined frequency range. The DLL is suitable for driving applications with changing impedance conditions. It supports CW/pulse and PWM operations and is specifically designed to drive microwave power amplifiers and control RF Energy applications in the ISM band.
The ISC-2425-25+ supports stand-alone or multichannel operation (in either coherent or in-coherent modes) and includes an internal 10 MHz clock which can be shared via an LVDS signal to enable coherent operation with other external hardware and other signal generator boards. It comes with full software support including a user-friendly GUI application and a comprehensive application programmer interface (API) and programming instructions for both Windows and Linux environments. A Labview™ instrument driver is available as well.
The ISC-2425-25+ is available in a housing that measures 98 x 80 x 40 mm with SMA connectors and is ideal for use in semiconductor plasma applications, plasma applications, dielectric heating, solid-state cooking, sterilization, disinfection and pasteurization, industrial heating and drying, medical treatments and analytical chemistry applications.
