The SW2A101 from Amplical is an SPDT PIN Diode Absorptive Switch that operates from 100 MHz to 20 GHz. This Coaxial switch can handle an input CW power of up to 2 watts, has an insertion loss of less than 3.8 dB, isolation of more than 70 dB, and a switching speed of up to 75 ns. It requires a +5V DC supply and a –12V to –20V DC Supply. This 50-ohm switch is available in a module with field-replaceable SMA female connectors which can be removed for drop-in microstrip and stripline applications. It is ideal for use in communications systems, electronic simulators, bypass/selector switch, radar systems, EW systems, and test equipment applications.
