The ADRF5144 from Analog Devices is an SPDT Reflective Switch that operates from 1 to 20 GHz. It can handle an average input power of 10 W (~40 dBm), a peak input power of 44 dBm, and has an insertion loss of less than 1.1 dB. This switch has a rise/fall time of 135 ns, an ON/OFF time of 500 ns, and an RF settling time of less than 750 ns. It requires a DC supply of ±3.3 V and consumes less than 510 µA of current. The switch requires no additional driver circuitry and is an ideal alternative to GaN and PIN diode-based switches.

The ADRF5144 uses complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-/low-voltage transistor to transistor logic (LVTTL)-compatible controls. It is available in an LGA package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for military radios, radars & electronic countermeasures, Satcom, and test & instrumentation applications.
