The F2972 from Renesas is a SPDT reflective RF switch that operates from 5 MHz to 10 GHz. It provides low-insertion loss, high isolation, low distortion and can handle up to 40 dBm of power. This device is ideal for DOCSIS 3.1 applications from 5 MHz to 1.8 GHz and can also be used for BTS wireless communications equipment, drones, and general purpose consumer products that operate up to 10 GHz. The switch is available in a compact 2 mm x 2 mm package and can be used with either 50 or 75 ohm systems. The F2972 has an enable/disable pin for green, low-power consumption applications.
