The E7515W from Keysight Technologies is a UXM Wireless Connectivity Test Platform. It has been designed to support Wi-Fi-to-Cellular internetworking testing of both Wi-Fi clients (STAs) and access points (APs) from 380 MHz to 7.125 GHz (frequency resolution of 1 Hz). This test platform adds support for Wi-Fi 7 testing and enables advanced Wi-Fi/cellular co-existence testing and unique testing of 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) devices. It has been built on the same hardware as the E7515B test platform and can perform extensive RF parameterized testing, IEEE conformance with full-rate throughput, and unique rate vs. range test.
The E7515W supports powerful Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 Device Under Test (DUT) OFDMA analysis sweeping through every possible resource unit (RU) allocation. It wraps around the DUT with Wi-Fi client simulation on the front-haul and cellular on the backhaul, offering a one-box FWA test solution. This UXM test platform can emulate hundreds of clients simultaneously with traffic simulation without the need for additional equipment. It supports Wi-Fi 4x4 MIMO over a bandwidth of 320 MHz to help conduct Wi-Fi 7 signaling tests even for the latest IEEE 802.11 variants.
This wireless test system provides full test coverage from layers 1 to 7 of the Wi-Fi stack using the analysis software. It displays PHY/MAC-level information such as enhanced receiver sensitivity and generating relevant Wi-Fi signaling and RF throughput results. The E7515W provides TDD and FDD-based transmission with modulation over a signal bandwidth of 100 MHz when used with an appropriate software license. This test platform includes USB 2.0/3.0 ports on the front and rear panel along with LAN (control and data) ports and QSFP+ ports for connectivity. It is available in an enclosure that measures 323 x 453 x 554 mm with N-type (female) connectors.
This wireless test system requires an AC supply of 100/120/220/240 V and consumes less than 1800 W of power.
