The AX168-GL from Fibocom is an Automotive Grade C-V2X Module that meets AEC Q-100 Grade 2 standards. It is based on 3GPP Release 14 compliant LTE-V2X direct communications and supports vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communications on the unified 5.9 GHz ITS band. The module is based on a dual-core ARM Cortex A7 CPU along with a mobility optimized IEEE 802.11p DSRC and C-V2X direct communications (PC5) module and ultra-low-latency V2X Hardware Security Module (eHSM).
The AX168-GL has abundant interfaces, which enables users to conveniently develop applications. It is available in a compact LGA package that measures 42 x 40 x 4 mm with two integrated antennas and requires a DC supply of 5 V. This C-V2X module is a global V2X communication solution for enhanced driving safety, autonomous driving, intelligent transport system (ITS) and advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) applications.
