The ATSAMR30G18A is an ultra low-power microcontroller equipped with an IEEE 802.15.4 compliant radio for the sub-1GHz frequency bands 780 MHz (China), 868 MHz (Europe) and 915 MHz (North America). It uses the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ processor and provides 256KB of Flash and 40KB of SRAM (8KB battery backed) memory. The sub-GHz Radio supports BPSK and O-QPSK modulation and delivers up to 11 dBm of TX power with an RX sensitivity of -110 dBm. The MCU draws less than 500nA at 1.8 V battery supply with wake on GPIO, Serial Communication or Real Time Counter. The peripherals include up to 5 I2C/SPI /UART interfaces with one in the low power domain, 8 12-bit ADC channels, 48 capacitive touch channels with proximity sensing. It is available in a 5 x 5 mm QFN32 package and is ideal for long battery life sensor applications.
