Rohde & Schwarz is bringing the RF Lumination seminar tour to Europe in 2022 and 2023. The tour from November 2022 to January 2023 begins in the Netherlands and continues on to Belgium, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The upcoming educational RF Lumination seminar series from Rohde & Schwarz shines a light on typical applications in the RF and microwave industry. In multiple events across Europe, participants can find out more about vector network analysis or learn about applications such as load-pull measurements or power amplifier characterization.
Depending on the location, Rohde & Schwarz will offer two seminar choices: Demystifying Non-linear PA Behavior at all locations and additional seminars on Demystifying the Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) is available in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Ireland.
Demystifying the Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
The VNA seminars focus on the practical use and understanding of vector network analyzers in the RF and microwave industries. The events are designed for engineers or graduates who are new to network analysis, as well as those who want a better understanding and to be more efficient in their day-to-day work. This course covers the fundamentals and introduces some of the capabilities of modern vector network analyzers. The full day seminar will combine presentations from Rohde & Schwarz experts with practical hands-on demonstrations.
Demystifying Non-linear PA Behavior
In the second seminar, Rohde & Schwarz and specialists from AMCAD Engineering, HITECH and Maury Microwave expand participant understanding of non-linear behavior in power amplifiers. They focus on load-pull measurements, transistor/amplifier characterization and modeling for simulations. Participants will learn about setting up an easy solution for fast hybrid and active harmonic load-pull measurements by combining the R&S®ZNA high-performance four-port VNA with the IVCAD advanced measurement and modeling software from Maury Microwave and AMCAD Engineering.
The seminar tour starts on November 1, 2022 in Nijmegen, Netherlands, then moves on to Leuven, Belgium; Dresden, Germany; Munich, Germany and Dublin, Ireland and finishes up next year in the UK with dates in Reading and Edinburgh.
