The STRADA431from ST Microelectronics is a 24 GHz ISM-Band Transceiver MMIC for Automotive Radar sensor applications. This single-chip transceiver consists of one differential RF transmitter that delivers 13 dBm of power and three single-ended Rx channels. It includes a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) and a Power Amplifier (PA) in the Transmitter section and a Downconverter, Variable Gain Amplifier (VGA), and Band Pass Filter (BPFs) in the Receiver section. The device provides a programmable conversion gain of up to 60 dB and has an SSB noise figure of 11 dB. It has integrated LDOs and can be operated by a single power supply at 3.3 V. The AEC-Q100 qualified device is fully configurable via a 4-pin SPI and is available in 40-lead, 6 x 6 mm QFN package.
