The GDM7243i from GCT is an LTE Cat. M1/NB1 and Sigfox LPWA Module that operates from 600 to 960 MHz and 1.7 to 2.7 GHz. It complies with the 3GPP Release 13 LTE Advanced Pro standard and has various hybrid connectivity modes supporting Cat. M1, NB1, GSM, BLE, GPS and Sigfox. This module has a high-performance Cortex-R4 MCU with an integrated RF transceiver, baseband, and 2 MB SRAM. It is optimized for half-duplex FDD, FD-FDD & TDD and supports eSIM/Soft SIM. This module is optimized for low-data, low-power M2M devices with a battery life of up to 10 years. It has a flexible architecture for IoT devices and includes all features for turnkey trackers.
The GDM7243i has integrated security features that support secure boot, key, and configuration and symmetric/asymmetric cryptography HW & TRNG. It can be controlled via 1/2/4/8-bit high-speed serial flash, USB 2.0, UART, I2C, SPI, USIM, I2S, CAN-Bus, PWM, and REFF interfaces. This module is ideal for wearables, smart meters, trackers, smart homes, smart cars, and healthcare applications.
