The SKY65336-11 from Skyworks Solutions is a 2.4 GHz Front-End Module for Zigbee and ISM Bands. The module has an integrated harmonic filter, high-efficiency power amplifier (PA), balun, high isolation Tx/Rx switch, and low noise amplifier (LNA) for its configurable transmit and receive paths. It has internal switching, control, RF match & bias circuits and has RF ports that are all internally DC blocked. On the Tx side, it delivers a Tx power of over 20 dBm with a gain of 17 dB. On the Rx side, it provides a gain of 10.5 dB with a noise figure of less than 3 dB.
The SKY65336-11 requires a DC supply of 3 V and consumes under 160 mA (Tx) and 15 mA (Rx) of current. It is available in a 28-pin MCM SMT package that measures 8 x 8 mm and is ideal for connected home applications.
