The CHC6094-QKB from United Monolithic Semiconductors is a GaN Front End MMIC that operates from 37 to 41 GHz. It is manufactured on a robust GaN-on-SiC HEMT technology and consists of a high linearity low noise amplifier (LNA), input/output switches, and a linear power amplifier (PA). 

In the Tx path, it delivers an output power of 33 dBm (~1.99 W) with a gain of 23 dB, while on the Rx path, it provides a gain of 23 dB with a noise figure of 4.8 dB. This front-end MMIC requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes 40 mA of current. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4 x 4 mm and is internally matched to 50 Ohms for maximum efficiency. This front end is ideal for phased array antennas, 5G terrestrial networks, and high-throughput fixed wireless access applications.
