The AOX Series from Atlantic Microwave are Miniature Cryogenic Amplifiers that operate from 1 to 20 GHz. They provide a gain of 27 dB and have a multi-octave bandwidth. These amplifiers have an MIC design that utilizes GaAs pHEMT distributed amplifier MMIC technology and have proprietary matching circuits. These amplifiers can operate over a temperature range from -269 to +100°C. They require a DC supply from 5 to 8 V and consume less than 150 mA of current. The amplifiers are available in a light-weight aluminum alloy housing that measures 31.5 x 27.5 x 10 mm with female SMA connectors.
They are ideal for telecommunications, SATCOM, radar, countermeasures, EMC, test & measurement, radio astronomy, and commercial & military systems applications.
