The MGFG5H3001 from Mitsubishi Electric is a Ka-band (26 to 40 GHz) GaN HEMT MMIC amplifier for satellite earth stations. It provides a gain of 15 dB with an output power of 8 W. The chip integrates transistors circuits, matching circuits and a distortion-reducing linearizer. The built-in linearizer achieves low distortion for the power transmitters.
