The STWLC99JR from STMicroelectronics is an Inductive Wireless Power Receiver that can handle up to 100 W of power. It can also operate as a wireless transmitter (TX mode) delivering an output power of up to 25 W (coil-dependent). This wireless power receiver is Qi 1.2.4 and 1.3 compliant and has an integrated low RDS-ON synchronous rectifier with over 98% efficiency. It has a programmable output voltage from 4 to 20 V in steps of 25 mV. This wireless power receiver can be controlled via GPIO and I2C Slave interfaces.
The STWLC99JR is based on a 64 MHz 32bit Arm Cortex-M0+ core with 12KB FTP, 8KB RAM, 48KB ROM and an 11-bit ADC. It has an ARC (Adaptive Rectifier Configuration) mode for spatial freedom and a watchdog timer. This wireless power receiver has a multi-level ASK modulator and an enhanced FSK demodulator. It has a coil Q-factor measurement for FOD in Tx mode and over voltage, over current & thermal protection. This wireless power receiver is available in a flip-chip package that measures 4.859 x 4.859 mm and is ideal for autonomous robots, smartphones, tablets, laptops, cordless power tools, power banks and industrial applications.
