Amp'ed RF Wireless Technology has introduced a new module specifically designed to enable wireless streaming of HD 4K video. As image processing technology improves, more connectivity bandwidth bottle necks can be seen and the infrastructure needs to improve to support 4k imaging.
The new WF61 module brings together the speed and throughput of dual band Wi-Fi enabling crisp clear high-resolution video. It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. The 5 GHz band can handle the greater bandwidth needed for HD 4k imaging.
The Amp'ed RF module is an ideal fit for Pet/home/baby monitors, IP security cameras, doorbell cams, body cams, wearables, automotive dash cams or backup cameras and more. Amp'ed RF provides the Linux Kernel to ensure fast development of the WF61 applications.
The WF61 is a surface mount Wi-Fi module supplied on a 44 pin, 6-layer PCB. Specifications of WF61 module are:
